Remarks — how to read and write them

1 To read the remarks

  1. Tick Remarks at the top right of the month bar.
  2. A Remark for wk N column opens after every Sunday. Each note is stamped with its day — 16/9 covering for Bruce — and the whole week's notes read in one line.
  3. A day that carries a note also wears a small blue corner at its bottom left, whether the column is open or not. Hover the cell and the note is in its tooltip.

2 To add or change a remark (seniors, admin and dev)

  1. Press Lock to edit beside Save. Nobody else can edit the sheet while you hold it.
  2. Click the cell of the day — or drag across several days for one note on all of them. A palette appears beside it.
  3. Press the pen on the palette (or key R). Type the note and press Set remark; Clear takes one off. A note can stand on a day with no mark at all.
  4. Press Save, then Unlock when you have finished.
